Gopher removal in Oregon can be very difficult depending on the weather, location, and type of ground you are working with. There are different methods, traps, and other products that are made for gopher control, but the most effective way to solve the problem is through trapping this. The process of trapping gopher's can be frustrating if you do not have experience and it can also allow for a lot more damage. We have been solving gopher problems for years and no job is too big or too small.
Oregon Gopher Control
There are many companies out there that offer gopher control as a service, but some have not had much experience in dealing with Oregon gopher's. In Oregon we have some of the biggest gopher's in the United States. Because of this certain traps will not work or they should be modified to be able to work on larger gophers.
Another extremely common problem is people confusing gopher's and moles. Normally, but not always, gopher's will be found in larger fields or rural areas and moles will be in town. We have done many jobs the other way around, but that is usually the case. Moles are much smaller and make smaller tunnels under the ground. Gopher's can create tunnels that are as big as a soft ball compared to a large mole hole that might be the size of a golf ball.

Identifying Gopher Damage
The first step in solving any animal problem is to identify the nuisance animal that is causing the problem. Gopher dirt mounds usually have the dirt pushed out to on side of the hole compared to a mole that will have a nice round mound on top of the hole. The dirt mounds are the area that the damage is taking place, but it is not always the best location to setup your traps for catching the animal quickly. It is also helps to be able to identify old mounds and new mounds because that can tell you what area they are working. We are able to quickly solve gopher problems and if you have any questions feel free to contact us at any time.
